ENENSYS & TDF win "Best use of HbbTV for targeted advertising" award

Rennes - France - November 28, 2019 - ENENSYS Technologies and TDF are delighted that their AdsReach solution won the "Best Use of HbbTV for Targeted Advertising" award last week at the 8th HbbTV Symposium and Awards event in Athens, Greece.

AdsReach, a solution developed under a partnership between TDF and ENENSYS with the support of France Télévisions and France Télévisions Publicité, was the first targeted advertising campaign to be tested with national feeds. The test, carried out by France Télévisions and France Télévisions Publicité earlier this year, involved Havas and four advertisers. The data used was based on viewer behavior, and was collected in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation using the ENENSYS "AdsReach TV Data" solution. They were then segmented into four marketing categories (Family, Sport, Finance and Weather). Using the ENENSYS "AdsReach Dynamic Ad Insertion" solution, France Télévisions Publicité was able to select households in each category and replace national advertising with targeted advertising.
