On Monday February 22 and Friday February 26, 2016, around twenty young NQT graduates met at TDF sites in Romainville (Ile-de-France) and Lyon on the Fourvière site (Rhône-Alpes). Through this commitment, the company enabled these young graduates seeking employment to discover original professions in a particular sector, often unknown to the general public.

Two exclusive tours of radio towers

In addition to the sponsorship, NQT and TDF offered young graduates the chance to meet TDF employees face-to-face, to benefit from their expert advice, and also to take part in a guided tour to discover the different professions in this business sector.

A real discovery for most of the young graduates present, as Myriam points out: "Thanks to this workshop, I was able to find out about a company I didn't know existed, yet which is a major player in television and radio". François added that he appreciated the overall description of the services offered by TDF.

For all of them, it was a new professional sector that opened up their field of possibilities, as Jonathan explains: "Even if this sector isn't totally related to my job search, I was able to gain a transversal and complementary vision of the image professions in particular. The speakers were available to present their activities and answer our many questions!

During this privileged visit, the young graduates were given an exclusive tour of the company's two radio towers. High-ranking employees such as the site manager

The Network Management Directors, the Operations Department Manager, the South-East Regional Delegate and the Nord Rhône Operations Unit Manager presented the activities within each of the towers, and answered the many questions asked by the young graduates who were particularly curious during these visits! All were unanimous on the uniqueness of these professions and of the

business sector. What's more, TDF is an interesting company which, as Myriam explains, has managed in recent years to adapt and renew itself to the arrival of digital technology, thanks in particular to major investments.

It's an original sector of activity, and one that may well open up new prospects for the young people present. All the more so since, for some of these professions, positions are available but recruitment is sometimes complicated, due to the particular profile of the candidates sought, as Myriam confirms: "TDF has a very strong corporate culture, with employees who have been with the company for many years. These are professions with a high level of expertise.

The next meeting between TDF and NQT graduates will take place on March 29 in Toulouse.
