This new 200 m² site in the heart of Paris is now operational. It enables TDF to offer multi-operator mobile coverage that meets all 4G/5G connectivity needs inside buildings, especially office buildings.
In a BTS Hotel ( Base Transceiver Station Hotel), operators' telecom equipment (technical racks, fiber, DAS, etc.) is pooled in a single location, to connect several buildings.
In Paris, several TDF customers are already in the process of being connected, or have already been connected. By the end of the year, a dozen buildings should be connected via this BTS Hotel, with a second site already in the pipeline.
A concrete response to the sector's challenges
By boosting mobile coverage inside offices, the installation of connectivity devices gives users easy access to their digital tools. With the BTS Hotel model, a single site can serve several buildings within a radius of around ten kilometers.
