TDF will be exhibiting at the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales on the 19th.

In addition to its stand, this year TDF is organizing a round table on the theme of connected infrastructures and intelligent territories.

For three days, TDF teams will be meeting with local elected officials and their departments. With the March 2020 municipal elections just a few months away, digital issues have their rightful place in the campaign, in view of citizens' high expectations and evolving usages.

Deployment of fiber optics, cell phone infrastructure for 4G coverage, and digital terrestrial television broadcasting are among the daily concerns of local players.

Thanks to its expertise and knowledge of local issues, TDF has been supporting local authorities in the digital development of their territories for decades. Its roots and territorial coverage make TDF a benchmark infrastructure operator in France.

TDF is asserting its role as a gas pedal of digital coverage of the French territory, with the aim of eliminating areas where there is a lack of mobile coverage. TDF has numerous infrastructures (towers, roof-tops, etc.) capable of covering identified coverage gaps, and an industrial organization capable of building and deploying several hundred towers a year.

In addition, the operator is a public service delegate for the rollout of fiber optics in low-density areas in five départements: Val d'Oise, Yvelines, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher and Maine-et-Loire: Val d'Oise, Yvelines, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher and Maine-et-Loire.

Program

- Round table: Connected infrastructures and intelligent territories: what's in it for my local authority? Tuesday, November 19 at 4:30pm (Pavilion 3 - Room 32)

Speakers :
Jean-Louis Mounier, Co-Managing Director, Telecom Division - TDF
Gaël Sérandour, Head of Digital Infrastructures - Banque des Territoires
Pierre Ferrari, Director of Digital Strategy - City of Arras

"Do more with less! Smart Territory" projects offer local authorities the opportunity to improve the lives of citizens, while saving money, time and resources. This round table will place local authorities at the heart of the digital evolution of public services: their essential role, the challenges and the value of these new services for users. TDF will show how an "intelligent territory" must be supported by connected infrastructures adapted to needs and open to future developments.

- TDF stand: November 19, 20 and 21 at 4:30pm (Pavilion 3 - stand C23)
