TDF becomes a partner of Régions de France

TDF and Régions de France have signed a partnership agreement to develop joint regional initiatives in favor of digital regional development.

This collaboration will enable TDF and Régions de France to work on proposals for achieving regional objectives in terms of deploying digital infrastructures for ultra-high-speed mobile broadband and fiber optics, and developing their uses and services.

Through this partnership with the Regions, TDF confirms its ambition to be a benchmark partner for local authorities, drawing on its employees throughout the country, and on a unique network of audiovisual and telecoms infrastructures.

Digital regional planning, a regional economic and social challenge

TDF will support Régions de France in its work within the "Numérique" and "Aménagement du Territoire" commissions, and will participate in workshops and working groups on these same themes. TDF will also contribute its technical expertise to the various studies launched by Régions de France, notably as part of the Observatoire des Régions.

Hervé Morin, President of Régions de France : " Régions de France is delighted to welcome TDF as one of its partners. TDF's expertise will be extremely useful in helping us to address the challenges of deploying very high-speed fixed and mobile broadband infrastructures in all our territories, as well as developing new digital uses for the benefit of our citizens and businesses ".

Olivier Huart, Chairman and CEO of TDF , said: " TDF's ambition is to "connect everywhere, faster". The Regions are making very high-speed broadband, whether in fiber optics or mobile coverage, a priority for all French people. As an infrastructure operator, TDF is committed to working alongside them to successfully meet this digital challenge in all regions.
