What could be more symbolic than seeing the Torch pass by our iconic tower at Fort de Romainville in Seine-Saint-Denis!
On Thursday, July 25, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Olympic Torch’s passage in front of the TDF Tower in Les Lilas. It was a wonderful moment of camaraderie shared by TDF employees.
Broadcasting and Connectivity
Located in the town of Les Lilas, this tower—designed for TDF by architect Claude Vasconi in 1984—stands 141 meters tall and transmits FM and digital radio, also known as DAB+.
State-of-the-art monitoring center
At the foot of the tower, within the historic grounds of Fort de Romainville, lies TDF’s national monitoring center, which remotely controls, monitors, and operates TDF’s infrastructure and networks throughout the country.
The TDF Innovation Campus
Also located on the site, the TDF Innovation Campus is a hub for innovation and training where our expert engineers explore new technologies and develop cutting-edge solutions for the future of connectivity and digital services.
