TDF, a partner of local authorities in digital development, will be present at the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités locales (stand F60, pavilion 4) on November 16, 17 and 18, 2021 at Paris - Porte de Versailles.
TDF presents its various solutions to support local authorities, particularly in terms of digital coverage and intelligent territory, and to enhance their assets by minimizing the environmental footprint of its infrastructures. By providing them with advice and expertise, TDF is helping to improve the connectivity and attractiveness of local areas.
TDF is organizing a number of events on its stand, as well as a round-table discussion on the theme of intelligent territories and the integration of telecoms infrastructures at the heart of cities.
This year, TDF has teamed up with Alta Space, creators of vegetated structures, to present one of their planted elevations exclusively on its stand. The result of a partnership with Alta Space, this innovative product enables the natural integration of digital networks in the city, by positioning digital equipment at the top of the green sculptures.
TDF, listening to the digital needs of local authorities
Deploying fiber optics, improving mobile coverage and broadcasting digital terrestrial television are all part of the daily concerns of local players. Thanks to its expertise and knowledge of local issues, TDF has been supporting local authorities in the digital development of their territories for decades. Its roots and territorial coverage in mainland France and the French overseas territories make TDF a benchmark infrastructure operator in telecommunications and broadcasting.
TDF has extensive infrastructure (towers, roof-tops, etc.), an industrial organization capable of building and deploying several hundred towers a year, and shared solutions for coverage of confined environments (subways, tunnels). In this way, TDF is asserting its role as a gas pedal of digital coverage of the French territory, with the aim of resolving areas where mobile coverage is lacking.
In addition, the operator is a public service delegate for the rollout of fiber optics in low-density areas in five départements: Val d'Oise, Yvelines, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher and Maine-et-Loire: Val d'Oise, Yvelines, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher and Maine-et-Loire.
