A look back at InnoDay TDF 2025: an event at the heart of innovation

On Thursday September 25, TDF opened the doors of its Campus in Les Lilas (93) for the first edition of InnoDay, aimed at audiovisual customers. A day dedicated to innovation and technological solutions. It was an opportunity to discover current experiments, laboratories and solutions developed by TDF.

A highlight on responsible innovation

The morning opened with a two-part keynote by Nihal Mougamadou, innovation and AI specialist, and Meryem Oudghiri-Otmani, Director of Sustainable Development at TDF. Focusing on responsible innovation in the audiovisual and connectivity sectors, the keynote highlighted TDF's commitment to combining technological performance with environmental responsibility.

In the afternoon, a second keynote, led by Nihal Mougamadou and Stéphane Gillot, Head of Architecture and Solutions at TDF, explored the issue of AI as a lever for productivity and supervision, with a watchword: transform without denaturing.

 

Concrete demonstrations in TDF labs

Throughout the day, participants were able to visit the laboratories and attend exclusive demonstrations. More than 20 solutions were showcased, illustrating the diversity of TDF's expertise:

  • Edge data center: hosting data as close as possible to usage.
  • 5G Broadcast certification: validating the performance and interoperability of the entire technical chain.
  • 5G Broadcast: watch DTT on the move, without a SIM card or Wi-Fi? It's now possible!
  • Digital twin: simulate, design and operate TDF infrastructures in 3D.
  • DAS solution: connectivity where there's no mobile network.
  • UHD via DVB-T2: picture quality and broadcast capacity combined.
  • Virtual radio studio: produce, direct and broadcast programs from anywhere.
  • My vision of TNT & Dataminer: complete supervision from the NOC tool to the customer portal.
  • AI by TDF: streamlining exchanges and anticipating needs.
  • Ad Valem contribution: a reliable, controlled contribution.

 

Beyond the technological demonstrations, this first edition confirmed TDF's role as a major player in audiovisual broadcasting, connectivity and digital transformation, while affirming its commitment to a responsible and sustainable approach.
