French government takes a stake in S.A.M. Monte-Carlo Radiodiffusion

As part of its policy of controlling its frequencies, the French State has today purchased 2% of the shares in S.A.M. Monte-Carlo Radiodiffusion from the French company TDF.

It is the exclusive licensee for broadcasting FM, digital, long- and medium-wave radio and digital television on Monegasque frequencies.

The Principality now holds 51% of the capital of this Monegasque company, and TDF 49%.

TDF remains a privileged partner in the company's development, given its position as a key player in the French market for radio and television broadcasting.

In view of this change in ownership and the diversification of S.A.M. Monte-Carlo Radiodiffusion's activities, the company has changed the name of its trade name. It is now called MONACO MEDIA DIFFUSION.
