K-Net to market its services on all TDF fiber networks

On June 6, K-Net and TDF signed a national framework agreement enabling K-Net to market its fiber offering on all fiber optic networks operated by TDF, which will eventually represent more than 700,000 outlets.

Internet service provider and digital services company, K-Net offers its 15,000 subscribers a range of services dedicated to both professionals and private individuals. The company has chosen to offer its services only in territories under public service delegation (DSP), and relies on local service quality by setting up a physical agency as soon as possible in each region where it markets its offerings.

For TDF, this agreement confirms its positioning as a neutral and open fiber infrastructure operator, aiming to cover territories located in sparsely populated areas. Since 2017, five départements have entrusted TDF with the deployment, operation and marketing of the fiber optic network in these sparsely populated areas.

K-Net's offer will be available from July 2018 in the Val d'Oise (on the Val d'Oise Fibre public initiative network, carried by the Val d'Oise Numérique mixed syndicate). The first communes to be connected will be Bernes-sur-Oise, Bruyère-sur-Oise, Champagne-sur-Oise, Chaumontel, Hérouville, Luzarches and Méry-sur-Oise.
Households in Yvelines (on the Yvelines Fibre network), Indre-et-Loire and Loir-et-Cher (on the Val de Loire Fibre public-initiative network, run by the Val de Loire Numérique mixed syndicate) and Maine-et-Loire (on the Anjou Fibre public-initiative network, run by the Anjou Numérique mixed syndicate) will be able to subscribe as soon as the networks are rolled out, by 2022.

K-Net offers Triple Play (Internet, Fixed Telephony and Television) with no commitment period. Thanks to its network of local agencies, the K-Net team stays close to its subscribers to answer their questions and support them on a daily basis. What's more, all services are based in France, encouraging local employment. K-Net subscribers can access a connection of up to 1Gb/s, unlimited fixed-line telephony in France and a new-generation TV box that takes advantage of the latest technological standards through the Android TV system.

Frank Bisetti, Founder and Chairman of K-Net:

"We're delighted to be able to continue contributing to the deployment of ultra-high-speed broadband for everyone through our partnership with TDF. With this new collaboration, we are delighted to strengthen the relationship of trust established with French infrastructure operators almost ten years ago."

Olivier Huart, Chairman and CEO of TDF, said:

"With just a few weeks to go before our first connections in the Val d'Oise go live, we're delighted with our partnership with K-Net. From July onwards, households will be able to benefit from ultra-fast broadband services. This collaboration is a win-win situation for the regions that place their trust in us.
