Nicolas Gibergues has 25 years' experience in the technology industries, with solid expertise in telecoms and power grid automation infrastructures.
An engineering graduate of Supélec, he began his career at Thales in 1999, working in the aerospace sector. He then joined Alcatel in 2001, where he held various positions in mobile applications and infrastructure development in Asia and France.
In 2009, he joined Areva in Singapore to head up the power grid automation business in Asia-Pacific.
He then moved on to global responsibilities within Grid Automation, driving the business' operations, performance and transformation, particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2019, he was appointed head of GE Vernova's Grid Automation division, which he positions as a key player in the modernization of power grids and the global energy transition, via digital supervision, protection and control solutions.
