At national level, however, it is the decisions of three Independent Administrative Authorities (AAI) that stand out for the particular imprint they exert on TDF's institutional environment: ARCEP, ARCOM and ANFR.
Each of them plays a major role in TDF's different areas of activity.
This role can be direct (the authority makes decisions that apply directly to TDF) or indirect (the authority makes decisions that apply to TDF's customers).
Below are the roles played by these Authorities in TDF's three main areas of activity.
TDF and ARCEP, a few examples:
For the Mobile business, it allocates licenses to mobile operators.
For the audiovisual business, it obliges TDF to open up access to its DTT sites to competitors.
ARCOM implements the DTT modernization program and allocates audiovisual frequencies.
Among other things, it manages all the radio frequencies on which our audiovisual and mobile activities depend.
OFITEM, the association of mobile telephony infrastructure operators, represents mobile telephony infrastructure operators in France, notably in dealings with public authorities, regulatory authorities, the media and, more generally, stakeholders in the telecoms sector.
Arnaud Lucaussy (General Secretary) is currently the association's Treasurer.
FAVN, association active in the audiovisual field.
Gaëlle Kaminsky (Deputy Director of the Audiovisual Business Unit) is currently Secretary of the association.
BNE, European audiovisual association
Arnaud Lucaussy (General Secretary of TDF) is currently Chairman of the association.
