TDF Campus selected as a pilot site for connected buildings in France

On Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the SIMI business real estate show, TDF signed the "Connected Buildings" commitment charter and saw its Technical Campus, located in Les Lilas in the Ile-de-France region, selected as a pilot project. This signature is part of an initiative by the Smart Building Alliance (SBA) and the French government to promote connected and communicating buildings in France.

The charter was signed in the presence of Julien Denormandie, Secretary of State to the Minister for Territorial Cohesion. It brought together members of the SBA and HQE (Haute Qualité Environnementale) associations, as well as professionals from the sector.

TDF is keen to demonstrate its commitment and support for this approach. Its new Campus, located in the commune of Les Lilas, has been selected by Certivéa (a subsidiary of the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) for the "Ready2Services" pilot project, aimed at testing a reference system for connected buildings. The Campus, which houses TDF's technical laboratories, is equipped not only with a double fiber optic cable, but also with innovative mobile connectivity solutions (high-density WiFi, 3G/4G mobile telephony) for the company's employees. Like the Campus, TDF is developing indoor and broadband connectivity solutions for businesses, local authorities and building owners.
