Caisse des Dépôts acquires a 30% stake in Val d'Oise Fibre, a TDF subsidiary set up to roll out, operate and market the optical fiber network in low-density areas of Val d'Oise, under a public service delegation agreement.
This new agreement strengthens the partnership between TDF and Caisse des Dépôts, which came into being in November 2016 for the formation of Belvédère, a joint company dedicated to the deployment of coverage solutions for mobile white zones. It thus reinforces the positioning of both companies, aimed at supporting the digital transition of territories.
As a reminder, in February 2017, TDF was awarded the "VORTEX" Public Initiative Network (RIP) in the Val d'Oise department, following a tender process lasting several months. Over three years, this project will serve more than 85,000 outlets, providing ultra-high-speed Internet access to residents and businesses in 116 communities.
