Testimony of Sandrine Szwedzinski, CDC Habitat Île-de-France

Can you introduce yourself?

I'm Sandrine Szwedzinski, head of commercial and specific management for the Île-de-France region. I lead two teams, the first of which manages the condominiums in our portfolio, and the second manages the shops at the foot of the buildings, as well as the relay antennas. The CDC habitat group is France's leading landlord, with over 525,000 housing units.

CDC Habitat, France's leading social landlord

The CDC habitat group covers the entire housing offer, enabling tenants to enjoy a real residential career, with housing adapted to their needs and resources, whether for rent or for home ownership.

What are your problems as a social landlord with regard to relay antennas?

We are sometimes faced with concerns from tenants, local residents and town councils. The subject that comes up most often is the health effects of exposure to electromagnetic fields. So we work very hard to reassure tenants, with studies to back it up. The second problem is a technical one. We have to reconcile our existing flat-roof installations with the installation of relay antennas.

What are your main challenges?

We have two main challenges. The first is to improve the performance of our roof terraces. The second is to support government policy to improve mobile telephony and avoid the digital divide. Naturally, we're counting on TDF to achieve our objectives, while respecting the environment and maintaining the satisfaction of our tenants and local communities.

Why TDF?

TDF is recognized for its skills and quality of service in the telecoms sector. This partnership enables us to have a single point of contact for finding operators on our behalf. The word that comes to mind about TDF is "availability". TDF, while developing our business in a positive way, is always available to provide advice and education at our meetings with tenants and town halls. It also assists us with administrative and legal formalities during meetings with local authorities. Since I started working with TDF and its teams, a climate of trust has been established, enabling me to work on projects with complete peace of mind.
