- TDF, first in the 2020 global ranking, "infrastructure" category
- Score of 97/100 for CSR performance
- TDF becomes "Sector Leader" and is awarded "five stars" for its position at the top of the ranking.

GRESB has just awarded the TDF Group a score of 97/100 for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance in 2019. Internationally, TDF ranks number one in the "Infrastructure" category and sixth worldwide in all categories.

A benchmark organization, GRESB compares and rates companies on their management of CSR-related issues (environmental, social and governance - ESG - criteria), and draws up its annual rankings.

TDF's commitment as a responsible industrial company

TDF continues to climb the GRESB rankings, improving its overall score by 22 points in one year. This result reflects the continuous improvement work carried out by all the company's departments and the particular effort made to expose the Group's social, environmental and governance risk management process.

In 2019, the TDF Group published its Corporate Social Responsibility policy, setting out its twelve commitments, structured around four priorities: i-connecting territories, ii-ensuring well-being at work, iii-being an ethical and civic-minded company and iv-protecting the environment. A CSR governance structure has been set up at the highest level of the company to steer performance and validate strategic CSR orientations. In addition, a member of the Global Compact since 2014, the TDF Group publishes its annual Communication on Progress.

During the 2021 assessment, TDF will continue to highlight its CSR dynamic and will particularly emphasize its position as a responsible company in the context of the pandemic.

Olivier Huart, Chairman and CEO of the TDF Group, states:

"I am delighted with TDF's results in this 2020 ranking. TDF has been taking part in the GRESB assessments for five years now, and I can see how far our company has come in terms of sustainable development. In the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is affecting the whole world, Corporate Social Responsibility issues are a priority. More than ever, the work of our employees in the field and our telecommunications and audiovisual broadcasting infrastructures are essential to maintaining and improving mobile and fixed-line coverage throughout the country."

Christopher Ehrke, Partner, and Romain Roirand, Senior Investment Director of Arcus Infrastructure Parters, TDF's shareholder company, said:

"Thank you to TDF for its involvement in the GRESB assessment. We would like to congratulate the teams on these excellent 2020 results, which reflect the quantity and quality of the work carried out on ESG issues on a daily basis. It is also concrete proof of the teams' commitment to continuous improvement. TDF can be extremely proud of this achievement, and we can only continue to encourage them in this direction."

Sander Paul van Tongeren, Co-founder and Managing Director of GRESB, comments:

"We are proud to recognize the "Sector Leader" and "Most improved" 2020 winners for their commitment and action in improving their ESG (environment, social, governance) performance. Your efforts are helping to shape the corporate social responsibility of tomorrow, and are playing a decisive role in making assets more responsible and sustainable."
