Since December1, 2015, TDF has been offering its managers the chance to get involved in the mentoring scheme run by the NQT association. Through this commitment, the company is also offering around 20 young NQT graduates the opportunity to take part in workshops within its company at the Romainville and Lyon Fourvière transmitter sites.
Workshops for young graduates
The NQT association promotes the integration of young graduate jobseekers (minimum bac+3/4), aged under 30, from disadvantaged neighborhoods or social backgrounds, through mentoring by experienced executives and company managers (advice on job hunting, CVs, help with networking...). Consistent with and complementary to TDF's values, the NQT / TDF collaboration was quickly established.
In addition to the sponsorship, NQT and TDF are offering two job discovery workshops and a site visit to around twenty young graduates being monitored by the association. They will be welcomed at TDF's Romainville and Lyon Fourvière sites.
Young graduates will be able to meet TDF employees face-to-face, benefit from their expert advice and also discover the different professions in this particular sector. During this privileged visit, young graduates will be able to visit the Romainville site in Paris on February 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and the Lyon Fourvière site on February 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, for an exclusive tour of the company's two radio towers.
For 40 years, TDF has been a partner to the media and telecoms. With its 10,000 sites, its ultra-high-speed network, its technical platforms and its know-how developed over decades, TDF ensures the broadcasting of the 35 DTT channels and 900 FM radio stations, as well as the deployment of the networks of the 4 national cell phone operators. As a result, a number of different professions are evolving within the company. That's why a number of positions will be represented, including Site Managers, Network Control Managers, Operations Department Managers and Deployment Operations Managers. They'll be presenting their professions and answering any questions the young guests may have.
Original professions that may well open up new prospects for young graduates currently looking for work.
