Activities

Ad Valem Technologies has developed a complete range of TV flow management services based on a unique high-level technology and infrastructure:

  • Broadcast Solutions - Innovative, flexible stream transport technology that covers the entire transmission chain, from TV stream production to reception by broadcasters (satellite bouquets, ISPs, DTT, OTT, etc.).
  • Event contribution solutions - Rapidly deployable and flexible mobile resources throughout France to transport live event flows.

Teleport

The Teleport offer takes care of all the transport of TV/Media feeds for customers from point "A" (reception) to one or more points "B" (broadcast), whether for event capture or transmission, or for permanent feeds.

This transport is carried out over complex networks, with stages often made up of satellite, fiber, IP and other flows.

Ad Valem has dozens of satellite antennas (reception and transmission) and more than 80 direct interconnections(dark fibers) between several types of business players: content producers, TV channels, technical service providers, broadcasters (DTT, ISPs, satellite packages).

The Ad Valem Technologies network is based on a set of :

  • Points of presence in France and selected European countries,
  • Dark fiber links managed by Ad Valem Technologies,
  • Fiber links leased to some of the biggest players in the French market, such as Sipartech, or SFR / Completel for longer-distance links in the provinces,
  • Global partnerships with international players such as Telstra, Eurovision/EBU, Aldea and TATA Communications Group, giving Ad Valem Technologies access and potential presence in over 60 countries and 600 cities worldwide.

FSG mobile equipment

Ad Valem Technologies has a fleet of 5 FSG-H (Fiber Sports Gathering Hybrid) stations, which are autonomous terrestrial and satellite optical transmission vehicles designed and implemented by Ad Valem Technologies.

This is one of the only SNG types in the world with dual fiber and satellite functionality for transporting HD and UHD video contribution streams.

The fiber connectivity of these transmission media enables latency-free antenna return, IP-based coordination channels, and Internet or Ethernet links directly at the capture site.
