Audit of subcontractors

To ensure compliance with safety regulations, TDF technicians conduct on-site safety audits of the company's subcontractors.

Three objectives:

  • Develop a health and safety culture among subcontractors,
  • Ensure that subcontractors working on TDF sites comply with safety regulations,
  • Stop work sites where a serious and imminent risk has been identified.

Protection against electromagnetic fields

Since 2021, several actions have been put in place following the publication of the policy "Prevention of risks relating to the exposure of workers to electromagnetic fields on TDF sites" :

  • Adapting to emerging technologies
  • Review of prevention methods,
  • 5G security perimeter studies
  • Optimization of EM field measurement processes,
  • Search for a new supplier of protective suits and EM field measuring equipment.

This approach, based on current regulations and standards, is constantly evolving.

A network of first-aid workers at all TDF sites

This network is led by the health, safety and environment managers in each region.

First aiders at work receive training in first aid and refresher courses, so that they can intervene as quickly as possible in the event of an accident in the workplace.

Newsflashes are sent out regularly to remind them of the right thing to do, and to keep them up to date with the latest developments in first aid.

A first-aid call application has been created and made available to employees.

MESUR visits to analyze risks and improve practices

Thanks to MESUR (Managing Safety Effectively through Recognition) visits, we are making safety an individual and collective behavioral issue, and the driving force behind our future progress.

These meetings, scheduled on site between a manager and a technician, enable the observation of tasks and the analysis of risks. They culminate in a review of best practices and areas for improvement.

MESUR Visits complement the risk analysis systems already in place at TDF:

  • analysis of accidents and near misses
  • DUERP (Document Unique d'Evaluation des Risques Professionnels).
