Hello, my name is Ndoffene, I'm in charge of the Innovation teams and I've been with TDF since 2016. The first project I'm working on is the indoor coverage project for the Grand Paris Express. It's a very intellectually stimulating project, but also one that requires a lot of innovation. It's a very useful project, which will give several million people in the Paris region access to 5G and later 6G. The second project I'm working on is the modernization of our infrastructure to optimize our energy consumption and reduce our carbon footprint.
Innovation isn't just important at TDF, it's vital. It's vital because TDF has been innovating for over 45 years, and it's this innovation that has enabled us to perpetuate our historic media activities, but also to expand into new activities such as telecoms and fiber. My team and I have a very simple philosophy: "Just do it", as in sport. This means that we try to put our ideas and projects into practice as soon as possible, so that we can offer them to our customers. This enables us to get rapid feedback from our customers and thus improve our solutions. To do this, I trust every member of the team to take projects to the highest level, because without trust, there's no creativity, there's no innovation.
What I like and what I'm passionate about at TDF is the diversity of the subjects you can work on. You can start your career in IT, networks or artificial intelligence, continue in private networks and tomorrow have the opportunity to work in support functions, for example. So there's a wide range of possibilities.
My greatest source of pride in my work is seeing difficult projects come to fruition. But thanks to the tenacity and inventiveness of our teams, we manage to create new solutions and offer them to our customers.
There are many reasons for this, but I'll mention just two. The first is that TDF is a company at the cutting edge of media and telecoms technology. And the second is that TDF is growing and investing heavily in innovation.
