History of the Supervision and Operations Center

50 years of TDF history

tdf noc supervision and operations center

The national supervision and operations center (known as the "NOC", for Network Operations Center) plays a key role in monitoring and managing infrastructures in real time, and in communicating with customers. From this command post, TDF teams coordinate interventions in the field, identify incidents and ensure a rapid return to normal, even in emergency situations.

It brings together all the skills (supervision, operation, support, customer communication, scheduled work management, access management, etc.) required to provide end-to-end service and maintain a very high level of service quality, in real time, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This is achieved by means of remote management, which transmits infrastructure and equipment supervision data in real time. Armed with a range of monitoring tools, supervisors scan for the slightest alert and act directly on the infrastructure, or if necessary, dispatch teams of technicians to the field.
