The MobileTV service is based on the DVB-H technology, which is the best distribution channel for television and radio programmes to a mobile receiver. A DVB-H network rolled out by Digita was opened for commercial use in Finland on 1 December 2006. In the beginning, the coverage area of the network is the Helsinki region and the cities of Turku, Tampere and Oulu with surrounding areas, that is, about 40 percent of people living in Finland.
Our services - Wireless broadband @450
Digita's @450 service brings wireless broadband where it is needed. The service is a 450 MHz frequency band digital mobile network, which offers ADSL quality data communication connections to homes and businesses. @450 is the only broadband you can take with you - where-ever you go. Digita rolls out @450 Broadband using the open network model, in which Digita's role is to be the network operator. Digita rents network capacity to all interested service providers under equal, non-discriminating conditions. Service suppliers may include, for example, mobile and broadband operators through which consumers have an access to the service. @450 network covers now over 90 % of the population in Finland.

Our operations are guided by our customers' needs: extensive services, cost-efficiency, minimizing risks and flexibility.
Our services - Transmission Services
Picture, sound and other data of television and radio broadcasts are transmitted by programme transmission services through Digita's distribution networks from the scene of the event to the broadcasting station and through it to listeners and viewers. Programme transmission services are needed for example to transmit individual programmes in live news broadcasts, sporting events, entertainment programmes and videoconferences.
Digita's programme transmission serves as a link between the customer's transmission and reception location. The transmission link can be either one-way or two-way and various additional services can be linked to it. Depending on the situation, either a fixed transmission link or mobile programme transmission equipment is used in programme exchange. Digita also provides international programme transmission.
