Polskie Sieci Nadawcze
PSN' areas of activity may be divided into three groups:
- Terrestrial transmission of radio and television programs
- Basic PSN's offer is addressed to radio and television broadcasters. We provide operator services relying in the program transmission with the employment of our own network of terrestrial transmitters.
- Digital television - playout systems
PSN actively participates in the preparations for the introduction of terrestrial digital television onto the Polish market. At the same time we have been rendering services for the currently operating satellite digital channels relying in the broadcasting of thematic programs. In this case, a program producer supplies PSN with a detailed program together with materials for broadcasting. PSN is responsible for the provision of the broadcasting equipment, its operation and supervision of the broadcast.
Services for telecommunications undertakings
An important part of the PSN's offer constitute services for telecommunication operators - cellular telephony networks, trunking communication or data transmission. PSN builds for them turn-key base stations and operates them. PSN also rents its technical infrastructure. At the client's order, PSN measures the intensity of radio fields.
PSN may also operate and maintain existing base stations being the clients' property.
Axion
A challenger with pooled skills
A new entrant to the Spanish broadcasting market, Axión launched regional DT in Andalusia in 2005 and is now the second largest audiovisual broadcasting operator in the country. In the financial year 2007-2008, the Andalusian operator consolidated its positions in the audiovisual sector and carried out major developments in the telecommunications sector. The renewal of the DT broadcasting contract with television station RTVA brings Axión's regional coverage to 85% from 13 sites. In terms of telecoms, Axión took part in the launch of Yoigo, the fourth-largest mobile operator in the country. Expanding its expertise across the value chain and offering integrated solutions, Axión won a facilities maintenance contract with Correos Telecom in four provinces and independent cities (Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta and Melilla), covering 17 urban and 31 rural sites. In order to better assist its clients in the move towards mobile technology and digital convergence, Axión conducted a series of pilot programs this year. The company set up an experimental mobile TV network in Seville, thereby honing its skills in aspects such as the architecture of the sites involved, the equipment required as well as the operating costs associated with the commercial deployment of the service. In terms of digital radio, it conducted an experiment into DR M with Cadena Ser, one of Prisa Group's radio stations, in order to accurately assess conditions for simulcasting.

Programs could be heard in Canneson new generation receivers. TV-Radio.com was responsible for delivery of the radio programmes via internet to the MCR transmitter located at the Fontbonne site overlooking the principality.
