A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, Telecom ParisTech and INSEAD, Olivier Huart began his career in 1987 at France Telecom in business development and marketing.

He joined the SFR-Cegetel Group in March 1995, where he first held the position of adviser to the Chairman, then Director of Regulatory Affairs for the SFR-Cegetel Group and finally Managing Director of Cegetel.

At the end of 2005, he became Chairman of BT in France. He successfully developed the company over a four-year period, following a path of organic growth in order to make BT France a benchmark operator in the world of IT and communications solutions.
